Le mulching s\u2019effectue via un \u00e9quipement de lames sp\u00e9ciales et d\u2019un obturateur d\u2019\u00e9jection, un \u00ab\u00a0kit mulching\u00a0\u00bb, disponible sur certaines tondeuses. Le terme est un anglicisme qui signifie \u00ab\u00a0paillage\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0: r\u00e9sultat de l\u2019action de couvrir le sol avec des mat\u00e9riaux organiques.
