Bigmow "petrol"

Developed for areas of grass where there is no electricity supply available, it provides continuous mowing … Except for the time needed to fill it up.

Developed at the request of landscape gardeners, this engine powered version is your partner in maintaining the large areas of grass for which you are responsible. The fact that it mows continuously enables you to focus on other maintenance tasks such as pruning ornamental shrubs and trees. Thus, this Bigmow® with petrol engine can easily be moved day by day from one garden to the nexte.

Based on the “mulching” principle, BIGMOW® mows continuously.

Equipped with a Honda 4-stroke petrol engine, this version of BIGMOW® is capable of continuous mowing for almost 22 hours thanks to its petrol reservoir containing close to 10 litres.

Light, BIGMOW® only uses 0.5 Litres / Hour.

Its ultraviolet resistant ABS bodywork is fitted to a tubular aluminium chassis.

BIGMOW® covers its working area at a speed of 3.6 km/hour. Equipped with sonar that detects obstacles a minimum of 40 cm high, it slows down as it approaches obstacles in its path, brushes against them with its “touch-sensitive bumper”, manoeuvres and does a half turn.

BIGMOW® operates in two main modes: systematic and random. In systematic operation, BIGMOW® mows in concentric circles from the outside to the inside of the area to be mown, then mows from the centre and works in the reverse direction.

Its “floating” cutting head system gives results very close to those achieved by cylinder mowers, and all this over a width of close to 1 metre.

Safety Combined operation of sonar, a touch sensitive bumper and backwards movement sensors enable it to cope with all types of obstacle (mobile or stationary).
